Meet Dr. Kelsey Sizemore, PT

My passion for this profession ignited during my undergraduate studies in exercise science. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was stepping into a field that felt like it was made perfectly for me. I became obsessed with learning—constantly diving deeper, applying concepts to my own training, and testing ways to maximize performance. That passion quickly evolved into a profound desire to help others do the same.

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, graduating summa cum laude from the highly respected and accelerated South College DPT program. At the same time, I pursued advanced continuing education in pelvic floor rehabilitation, orthopedics, and fitness athlete care. My love for education led me to serve as a teaching assistant for the Institute of Clinical Excellence’s Spine Division before shifting my focus to growing my own family.

While I’ve always been passionate about treating active individuals, my own journey into motherhood deepened my commitment to working with female fitness athletes. As a mother of two, I intimately understand the challenges active women face in balancing fitness, family, and pelvic health. I know firsthand what it’s like to maintain strength during pregnancy and navigate the seemingly long road back postpartum. Because of this, I further specialized in pelvic floor rehabilitation and holistic pre-conception and reproductive health support to better serve women at every stage.

My expertise also extends to treating headaches, neck and back pain, and helping fitness athletes build strength and prevent injury through targeted, performance-based care. As an ICE-Certified Specialist in Fitness Athletes and a Certified Mercier Therapist & Fertility Specialist, I am deeply committed to helping female athletes optimize performance while addressing pelvic health concerns. Every woman deserves a pelvic PT on her team—whether it's leaking with activity, pelvic pain, optimizing pre-conception health, navigating pregnancy/postpartum, or transitioning into menopause. You deserve a provider who understands the specifics of your sport or fitness demands, not one who tells you something is “normal” or advises you to stop doing what you love.

I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where women can regain confidence in their bodies and pursue their fitness goals without limitations. My holistic approach combines manual therapy, movement strategies, and individualized care plans to optimize pelvic and general health, restore function, and enhance overall athletic performance.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find me working to improve my own fitness, chasing after my two kids with my husband, or diving into another course to expand my knowledge and better serve my clients!

I’m thrilled to be a part of Affiliate PT and can’t wait to be a part of your journey!
